Hey there! :)

Yogurt Peel Cleansing Foam in Super Berry Mix is an exfoliating scrub cleanser that revitalizes skin with Pomegranate and Raspberry extracts.
I got this facial wash from Dry Sauna Special Kit! And since I’m running out of Happy Tea Time in Peach Tea facial wash, I gave this one a try.
Yogurt Peel Cleansing Foam in Super Berry Mix isn’t something that will make your face “peel”. It’s just a regular cleansing foam that has fruit extracts in it and has red tiny beads. Unfortunately, the beads of this facial wash are not too many like St. Ive’s Apricot Scrub. The beads are not that rough/hard so meaning, when you rub it on your skin, the beads actually melts or gets mixed with the cream. The packaging is a bit deceiving because it has a lot of red tiny dots on it so if you want an exfoliating scrub that has a lot of beads in it, this is not for you.
The texture of this product is thick and the smell has a hint of Raspberry. The first time I tried it, it actually made me want to eat my facial wash. I know, it sounded so wrong. Haha, but anyways!
Since Etude House’s Yogurt Peel Cleansing foam in Super Berry Mix is mild, it can be used everyday. After using this cleansing foam for almost a week or two, it made my face smoother and whiter! I’m expecting that it will give me a “squeaky clean” feeling after using it like Happy Tea Time did but sadly, no. Well, a little bit. It just gave me a “fresh” feeling like all cleansing foams do. Although after using Happy Tea Time in Peach Tea for almost 4 months, my face became a bit drier probably because it’s too harsh for my face but when it comes to giving off a “fresh and squeaky clean” feeling every morning you wake up, Happy Tea Time Cleansing Foam is just for you. But if you want an exfoliating scrub that is mild, its beads are not that rough/hard, the fruity smell is not too strong, then Yogurt Peel Cleansing Foam might be that facial wash you’re looking for.
(If you want to know more about this cleansing foam’s ingredients, click here!)
Pros: Fruits are good for the body and have positive effects on the body so having fruit extracts in a facial wash is an A+ for me! The cleansing foam is mild and my face didn’t break out. It made my face smoother and whiter.
Cons: Packaging wise, they shouldn’t have put too much red tiny dots on the tube because it looks pretty deceiving and makes people think that there are a lot of beads in this cleansing foam and also, the brand name is misleading because this cleansing foam doesn’t really make your face/skin “peel”.
Note: A skin care/makeup product may have a positive effect on me but please remember that we don’t have the same skin type, same reaction to a certain product so I suggest you to try these products with care. Not only the products I review but also the products you want to try.
I received a new freebie from Etude House for spending Php 2,000+ a couple of weeks ago, yay!

What’s inside? (L-R): Yogurt Peel Cleansing Foam in Super Berry Mix, Petit Bijou Cotton Snow Body Wash, Petit Bijou Cotton Snow Moisture Body Lotion, I Need You Honey (Cactus and Red Ginseng) Wash-Off Pack!
I will do a separate review on each product so stay tuned!
Have you ever wondered why your lips are chapped? Being overexposed to sun, cold conditions and even dry air environment makes your lips chapped and sadly, unattractive. And without proper care, it makes your lips peel, red, crack and even prone to wind burns.
In order to prevent you from having chapped lips, you must drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday and by putting on the right lip balm, it will help you have a smooth and attractive lips. Don’t forget to check on your current lip balms or lipsticks too because there are times when chapped lips are the result of lipstick dyes which causes allergic reaction.
So a couple of weeks ago, I bought a lip balm from Etude House and its name is Magic Tint Balm. What is Magic Tint Balm anyway? Well, Magic Tint Balm is a tinted translucent lip balm which supplies Vitamin E additives to promote and preserve healthy lips.

It comes in I think 4 shades but to make sure, I checked Etude House’s website and it only comes in 3 shades so…there you have it.
A good friend of mine actually uses this lip balm; hence, the reason why I bought it. I tried it on my lips and after a few minutes or so, it made my lips really smooth! I got iffy at buying it first because I think it’s a bit unhygienic putting your fingers in a potted lip balm but still gave it a benefit of the doubt since the effect was really good on my lips.

I didn’t taste anything from this lip balm but it has a faint sweet cherry scent which I think smells yummy.
I actually have a very pale looking lips so right after I tried it on, and it made my lips look reddish pink, healthier and livelier. The color is not too strong but it gave a glossy effect on my lips, like you’re wearing a lip gloss.
What I like about this lip balm is that after it stayed on my lips for hours, my lips didn’t peel too much. Unlike the other lip balms I’ve tried, after letting it stay on my lips for hours, my lips started to peel every now and then and I think it’s really annoying. Well, peeling in the sense that the dry skin’s being replaced with new skin or something.
I applied this lip balm before going to bed and the moment I woke up, it was still there on my lips. Even though I slept for about 7 hours, the moisture was still there. Since I live in a tropical country, this could last shorter when worn outdoors due to the intense heat and humidity.
Pros: There’s actually a lot of product inside the tub. When you put the product on your lips, it looks really natural and makes your lips smooth. Its lasting effect is great especially if you put it on before going to bed.
Cons: It’s a potted lip balm which I don’t really like because you have to put your fingers on the tub which is really unhygienic (it could be better if there’s a small spatula or something so you won’t have to use your fingers). And to be honest, I prefer the twist up tubes or whatever you call it over potted lip balms. The packaging is simple and the print on the top fades away easily.
Note: A skin care/makeup product may have a positive effect on me but please remember that we don’t have the same skin type, same reaction to a certain product so I suggest you to try these products with care. Not only the products I review but also the products you want to try.

Another Etude House haul! It’s not too much but I’m really satisfied with what I’ve bought.

Dr. Oil Solution Anti Shine Finish Pact
What I love about this product is that it leaves my face less oily and gives off this “matte finish” feeling. Aside from the fact that it smells great, it feels a bit heavy but it hides blemishes and it’s great for everyday use. I don’t really like using face powder because my face is really picky when it comes to such products. Whenever my face feels or looks oily, baby powder would usually do the trick but since I’m trying to be more open-minded when it comes to skin care products, I decided to give this one a try. What I don’t like about this product though is that it’s too small. Way too small. But other than that, this product is great and I recommend this to people who have light to medium skin tones with oily skin. Since my face is not that oily, I didn’t buy the whole Dr. Oil Solution Anti Shine line. But if your face is too oily, my suggestion would be to try the whole Dr. Oil Solution Anti Shine line. AC Clinic Red Spot Balm Step 4
According to the sales attendant, you use the Red Spot Balm to whiten/lighten/remove a dark pimple mark. (Haha lol, I’m just kidding. Obviously still in state of depression/shock, thanks to Harry Potter. Err, post-Potter depression.) It’s used to whiten/lighten/remove a dark pimple mark. If you’re irritated with the pimple marks on your face, using a spatula, get a small amount of Red Spot Balm and put it on your dark pimple mark. Don’t spread it on your face. This is only used to whiten/lighten/remove a pimple mark.

This is the Pink Daily Spot. If there’s a new pimple on your face (not the dry one), put a small amount of Pink Daily Spot on a cotton bud and put it on your pimple. Push the cotton bud on your pimple and if you think it feels already painful or there’s already a stinging sensation, stop. (That’s what the sales attendant told me.)
I’d give this a 5/5 because after using it overnight, the pimple marks on my face are not too obvious anymore! Plus, the Red Spot Balm made the new pimple on my face dry in just one night. Amazing, right? If you have a lot of pimples on your face, I would suggest you buy the whole AC Clinic Line. PhP 578.00 / PhP 598.00

Bought 2 Good-bye Dark Circle Eye Patch again. PhP 78.00

Collagen Moistfull Trial Kit
Since I spent around 1k, I got two Collagen Moistfull Trial Kit. The one on the left is cream and the one on the right is first essence. You use the cream as a night cream while the other one is used every morning. After using this for 2 days and 1 night, my face became smoother than the usual. And I like putting both of them on my face because it doesn’t feel sticky at all and it smells really great!
(August 4, 2011) Edit: After trying out this product for two weeks, it made my face a lot smoother and moisturize! And surprisingly, it also made my pores smaller. How cool is that? Though for now, I’m giving my face a rest so it can breathe.
Note: A skin care/makeup product may have a positive effect on me but please remember that we don’t have the same skin type, same reaction to a certain product so I suggest you to try these products with care. Not only the products I review but also the products you want to try.
If you read between the lines, you’ll know exactly what I mean by this.
I lost my wallet few months ago. I think it was before summer started when I realized that my wallet was no longer inside my bag. It had around 1-2k cash + atm cards, discount cards, pictures, tickets, etc. It was devastating for me because I had that wallet ever since I was in my 3rd year of High School.
I went to the mall with my friends to buy something and even went back to school and with my wallet still inside my bag. I just realized that I lost it when I was about to pay my block’s president for school-related stuff. I searched the places where I went that day and even asked my professors if someone handed them a black wallet but no, unfortunately, no one handed them a wallet.
Until now…
I was in the library awhile ago when a girl asked me my name and handed me a wet wallet. I’m not really expecting my wallet to come back to me but I was really surprised to see it…wet. I asked her who, how and when she found it and she told me that a janitor handed it to her. The janitor found my wallet inside the flush tank or whatever you call it in one of the school’s toilet and I was literally taken aback because of all places, why the flush tank?
It’s so frustrating to know how low and disgusting a person can be. You could have at least handed it to an authority, not steal what’s inside of it. Well basically, what’s left now inside my wallet are wet papers (that used to be pictures, letters, discount cards, tickets, two PhP 20), and wet electronic cards.
It’s just…disappointing and I can’t believe such person existed. To think that I’m studying in a catholic school…just plain disgusting it makes me want to puke. I’m sure karma’s going to hit you one day so whoever you are, you better be prepared for the consequences of your actions.
Well anyways, what I’m trying to say here is, don’t put big amount of money in your wallet. Instead, deposit them in your bank account so at least, you won’t lose all your money. If you have a joined account with your mum or dad, it would be better because if you lost your wallet together with your atm card, you can still withdraw your money using either your parents’ atm card.
I know most of you have heard about Etude House’s Grand Sale that happened last June 16 to 21. Yeah, I missed it. Lol but it’s okay! I wasn’t able to save a lot of money so I didn’t bother going and I know it wasn’t the right time to spend the money I’ve saved so it’s no big deal. I just hope there will be a 2nd round of that awesome Grand Sale and this time, I’ll be ready! *u*
So anyways, below are the items I bought at Etude House!

Happy Teatime Cleansing Foam in Peach Tea!
I’m currently using Happy Teatime as my facial wash and surprisingly, my face felt squeaky clean! I use it every time I wake up, leave the house, before going to bed or whenever I feel like washing my face! There was this one time I used it before going to bed and the moment I woke up, my face still feels fresh and clean. Amazing, right? It took me years (not exaggerating) to find the perfect facial wash for me and I’m really glad I decided to give this a try! To be honest, my face is sort of dry (especially my chin) and after a few days, it’s back to normal! All Happy Teatime Cleansing Foam costs PhP 148.00 and I swear it’s worth the money! I’m recommending this facial wash to everyone. :)
(August 4, 2011) Edit: It’s amazing how long this product lasted. I’ve been using this for a month now and I’ve only used the half of it!

All-Proof Sun Guard SPF50 110ml
I really am not fond of putting on lotion or sunscreen for that matter because I rarely leave the house. The only reason why I bought this is because I’m going to the beach for 2 weeks (Bohol and Palawan) and I had to protect my skin from sun’s harmful rays that will damage my skin. Well, my skin became a bit tan but didn’t give me sunburn so I guess that’s okay. But one thing I didn’t like about this product is the packaging. The lid opens easily and 1/4 of the sunscreen’s content spilled on my Forever21 bag. :( (Lesson learned: Whenever you’re travelling or just going somewhere and you have a lotion (that tends to open easily) with you, don’t forget to put it inside a zip lock to prevent it from spilling on your bag.) The price of this product is PhP 728.00. Pricey, I know, but if you want to try this product, I suggest you buy the 50ml instead because it only costs PhP 398.00.

Hand Bouquet Right Collagen Hand Cream
As I’ve said earlier, I’m not fond of putting on lotion. That’s the problem with me, I don’t like putting anything sticky on my body; hence, the dryness of my skin. But surprisingly, I tried the tester of this hand cream and instantly liked the smell of my hand. It didn’t feel sticky at all and it’s as if I didn’t put anything on my hand. After a few minutes, my hands felt smooth and right after that, I just knew I had to buy it. PhP 298.00.

Good-bye Dark Circle Eye Patch
I haven’t tried this one so I still don’t know how this thing works but I think this is the same as the Collagen Eye Patch that removes dark and puffy eye bags. But the thing here is that Good-bye Dark Circle has more other products that costs around PhP 300.00-PhP 800.00 that will surely help you lessen the darkness and puffiness of your eye bags. The reason why I bought this is to see and to compare which of the two (Good-bye Dark Circle Eye Patch and Collagen Eye Patch) is more effective. Err, for me at least. PhP 78.00.

Open Your Eyes Mask Sheet
I was surprised to see a bigger version of eye patches and was curious how this thing works so I asked the sales attendant how to use this and she told me it’s an eye mask that looks like a giant pair of shades. You use this after washing your face and patting it dry and wipe with toner facial pad. You leave this on for about 20-30 minutes. You should remove the mask and massage the remaining solution on your skin using your hands. And you should use this every 2-3 days for maximum efficacy. (I only bought one so I’ll go back to Etude House in a few days to buy 3-5 more of this. :3) PhP 148.00.

Intensive Care Hair Mask
I haven’t tried this one either but it says that it’s meant to treat dry, damaged hair and scalp. I iron my hair most of the time so I guess that’s the reason why my hair is so dull and dry so I decided to buy this one. This is the only hair care product I saw in SM Masinag so I still don’t know if it’ll improve the state of my hair. (I checked their website and saw some other hair products so I guess I’ll have to wait for Etude House SM Masinag to stock up their hair care products.) PhP 148.00.
Edit: Gave this a try a couple of weeks ago and I’m not satisfied with it. It made my head itchier. ;_; But I’m not saying that you shouldn’t try this. Who knows, it might have a different effect on you.

Ginkgo Lip Patch
I haven’t tried this one but based on the reviews I read about this product, it’s used to make your skin smooth and for your pores to look finer and firmer. Use it every 4-5 days so to make your skin smoother. (Yup, so I guess I have to go back to Etude House to stock the lip and eye patches, hair and eye mask after all. :3) PhP 98.00
Edit: Tried this one a couple of weeks ago too and I’m surprised that it made my chin smoother + the pimple on my chin became smaller! Yup, I’m definitely going to buy this again and stock up.

Collagen Eye Patch
I haven’t tried this one yet but based on the picture, it’s obvious that it only covers the eye bags area so if you have dark and puffy eye bags, I would suggest you use this instead of the Open Your Eyes Mask Sheet since it’s cheaper. P78.

Black Head Remover Dual Sheet
Costs around PhP 150.00-PhP 400.00. I forgot the exact price ‘cause unfortunately, I lost the receipt. :(

Matte Real Nail Top Coat
I forgot the exact price of this Matte Top Coat but it’s not more than PhP 150.00. :)

Aloha #2 - Cocktail Syrup Nails Kit in Sunshine Bronze
This is my first time buying a gradient effect nail polish and yup, I’m satisfied with it! (I’ll post a tutorial on how to use this product in a few days/weeks. :D) PhP 328.00

Nail Art
PhP 50.00-PhP 100.00.
And the freebies I got…

Aloha Wet Tissue
and…

Mini Size U Pore Trial
Yay for freebies! All in all, I spent around PhP 2,700-ish on these products so they included Aloha Wet Tissue as a freebie. If you want to have that Mini Size U Pore Trial, you have to spend at least PhP 2,000 to get this freebie. :D
Note: A skin care/makeup product may have a positive effect on me but please remember that we don’t have the same skin type, same reaction to a certain product so I suggest you to try these products with care. Not only the products I review but also the products you want to try.
